Ii Impasto

We had such a fun week with the letter Ii. On Tuesday we mixed up some of our version of impasto. Impasto is a paint technique where the paint is applied to the surface really heavily to create texture. Instead of heavy paint, we made a paste, and applied it to a heavy paper and let it dry for a few days. Today, we painted our dry textured pieces in bright tempra. We are going to show the works at our winter showcase, so get all sorts of excited.
